I HAVE A 2005 YZ250 AND I HEAR A CLICKING NOISE FROM THE
WATERPUMP SIDE OF THE BIKE.IT SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING IS NOT
HOOKING UP CAUSE YOU CAN HERE SOMETHING ROTATING AND
CLICKING. JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS ANY INSIGHT INTO
THIS PROBLEM IM HAVING. THANKS

Is the bike overheating? Pull off your radiator cap when the
bike is cold and start it up. Can you see water pumping
through the radiator?

If it runs cool and water pumps then quit focusing on ticks in
the pump and focus on how you're going to pass the guy in
front of you!

The only thing that moves in your cooling system besides the water is the impeller, its either making noise on the water side or the oil side where the gear drives it.So pull the cover off an take a 50% chance of solving the mystery.
