When I bought that, I checked out the YZ sitting next to it and did not like it. Thank god! that was the year YZ's had the radiator behind the number plate,clamped to the fork legs with this horrible plumbing that routed the coolant through the steering stem!

  Also the year that Bob Hannah quit Yamaha! for the same reason! Plus I am 6'4" tall, That IT fit like a glove. But I recall it being rather light. But I just upgraded from an old RT1 360 (two shocks, no reeds, and heavy as a tank)

Motovet... I still have my 1985 IT 200!!!!  I want to restore it because it was the last bike my dad bought for me and there are a lot of memories of trial riding with him at The Blackwater 100 and at our house.

Ive seen videos of those races, that has got to be the roughest course i have ever seen. was the course ever dry or was it like that year after year?
